MUHC delayed another year...
The Gazette reports that the MUHC may be delayed by as long as a year. Builders are now expected to break ground at the end of 2009. Delays cost about 100,000$ a day.

Rising costs for CHUM and CUSM
Both hospitals had already engaged their professional teams of architects and engineers to prepare for construction when Quebec opted for PPP mode. The professionals want to be compensated. Delays at this stage are estimated to cost 2M$ per week.
